The chromed MOPAR RALLY wheels I ordered from Coker Tire had to be returned. After a suspension change, the wheels..."did not fit anymore". Too bad because I ordered another wheel from U.S. Wheel and I was not happy with the quality. Plus they were black powder coat which wasn't too clear in the on-line cataloge. I had them painted out of frustration so I could get tires on them and get the car off the lift.

From Magnum Force Inc. I ordered a new front end kit that included control arms, 2" dropped spindles, Lower B-joints, bearings etc etc. The bolt pattern went from 5X5 to 5X5 1/2 so hence the wheel change. The lowering block in the rear is there temporarily to determine the ride height. A 2" block will be used finally. The MOSER rear end/differential is fitted with Wilwood brakes also.

I ordered split headers from Gifford "6=8" speed equipment. I think they should fit right in with little engine compartment mods. Richard spent some time with the heat wrap. It keeps the compartment cooler and the appearance cool.

Time to up-grade the distributor with a magnetic pickup that will eliminate some of the problems with a "point" system.

The Gauges and GPS are in and the wiring is mocked up on cardboard. All the bodily functions of the car are manual. Fuel pump, fan, etc. No, that is not the back. The fuse block is facing out because I don't enjoy standing on my head to change a fuse or trace a wire.

While I'm overhauling the taillights on my dining table, Richard is modifying the front bucket seats from the donor 64 Dart to fit the back of the 62 Lancer. Nothing scares this man!
